Before I purchase this CD, I used to listen to Billie's recording she made for Verve in the 50's, I always wonder why everyone says she is the Queen of Jazz. Now I know, just listen to this CD and you will have the answer, I would recommend those who like these CDs to have the Billie Holiday - The Commodore Master Takes CD, this is another one you shouldn't miss.
