One of the best things about the show SMALLVILLE is it's soundtrack. Eack week, we are treated to new and unknown bands long before they ever hit the airwaves. So, of course, it was predictable a soundtrack of the show would emerge. It's nice to have a sampling of the music on one CD. The CD begins with the show's theme song 'Save Me' by Remy Zero. There are a couple of covers that stand out, most notably Eva Cassidy's 'Time After Time.' A true winner and not-so-obvious choice that makes this a better than average soundtrack. Sure there are some average songs, but it's the whole feel of the album that makes you remember why you bought it in the first place--- as a companion to the show. And what a perfect companion it is. Highly recommended.
