I was glad that I decided to pick up this CD. The tracks are very well-handled jazz instrumentals of songs made famous by the Summit.
With cuts like 'Fly Me to the Moon', 'The Lady is a Tramp', 'Everybody Loves Somebody', and 'Volare', Frank and Dino are well represented with competent jazz compositions of their big hits. Sammy, not so much.
Great Lounge Noir effort is just right for background music at a party, for when you're entertaining a lady in your swingin' bachelor pad, or just quiet times when you're alone with a good book on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
While it may not exactly be the same as listening to Frank, Dino, and Sammy, the CD has a touch of swank nonetheless.
