I've never bough a Faith Hill album until now, and the main reason I did was because I was curious about her cover of Angie Aparo's masterpiece 'Cry.' Faith Hill did a wonderful job on this piece, but I still prefer Angie Aparo's rendition. I do not think this album has much country flair to offer, except maybe on one or two songs. I think some music stores are still categorizing her as a country artist, so if this is what you were expecting, realize you will be hearing a lot of pop type tunes. The orchestrations to the songs are all very well-written and do a lot to accompany the vocals;however, there are a couple songs that all sound the same to me. In some ways this cd reminds me of Celine Dion's latest cd. The tunes are very catchy and some are very romantic as well. I would recommend this cd to anyone who is curious about it but unsure of whether to buy it or not. It does have a lot to offer and I think as a person listens to it more, he will enjoy new things about the songs the more he listens to them. Thank you.
